Why Experience a TEC?
TEC comes at the perfect time in a young person's life to help them discern who they are and, more importantly, who they are in Christ.
The three-day weekend offers the young person the opportunity to step back and ask questions such as why am I here? What does God want me to learn about myself and my relationship with Him? What might God be calling me to do to make a difference in other’s lives? What are my next steps?
In a reflective, non-judgmental setting, young people hear about other’s journeys, including their peers, and what they have learned along their life’s journey.
TEC encourages young people to think, pray, reflect, and act.

What have young people said about their TEC experience?
"The TEC experience strengthens a young person's relationship with Jesus Christ while also fortifying the sense of participating in a faith community. TEC as a movement builds both faith and community," Archbishop Roger L. Schwietz, OMI, Archdiocese of Anchorage, Alaska, TEC Conference Episcopal Moderator, Emeritus
"TEC changed everything and really inspired me to give my life over to God and make an impact in the world for Him. TEC introduced me to my two best friends: Jesus and Kim, who eventually became my wife," Jason Kotecki, artist, author, and professional speaker on fighting adultitis, and Peterstown TECite.
"TEC introduced me to a loving and merciful God who wanted me to follow Him," Kim Souba, TECite.
